Water Planning Portal

Summary

The Water Planning Portal is informed by the most recent Australian and international research. It is designed to guide and facilitate the selection of water planning tools that are "fit for purpose".

The Portal facilitates five distinct queries:

  1. Which tools are recommended for each stage and planning element in the Adaptive Management Framework?
  2. What tools are most appropriate given specified constraints e.g. time, money, expertise, required level of participation?
  3. Which tools are best suited to specific barriers and enablers?
  4. Once one or more tools have been recommended, what can you tell me about them? What are they useful for? How do they work?
  5. Which tools are best suited to particular challenges and other situational variables?
