The latest edition of the journal Water Policy contains an article that looks at the way that stakeholder analysis contributes to the achievement of integrated water management. It presents a stakeholder analysis methodology that was implemented on a trial basis in Northern Italy.

Improving Groundwater Planning Through Needs Analysis
An article written by researchers from the Water Planning Tools project has been published in the latest edition of the Water Magazine. The article reports back on the stakeholder analysis and needs assessment undertaken as part of the trial of water planning tools. It provides insight into the ways in which thorough and systematic assessments can improve the role of water planning in targeting the priority issues faced in and by a catchment.
