Bill Lennertz, Executive Director of the National Charrette Institute, explains what charrettes are all about and the value they bring to community planning.

This video was aired as part of the introduction for a charrette organised for the city of Fitchburg's smart growth zoning plan. The Fitchburg Zoning website is also an excellent example of how to put together an interactive website that supports the charrette planning process.
