Water Planning Remains A Major Issue Amongst Voters

The latest Newspoll report, released on the 29th October, confirms the importance of water planning in the Australian political landscape. The survey findings indicate that although its importance to voters has declined slightly in the context of the global financial crisis, water planning remains the 4th most important issue for Australian voters.

The quarterly survey conducted by Newspoll, which has included Water Planning since February 2007, has demonstrated consistently that voters regard water planning in the top four issues affecting their voting decisions. In February 2007, it was the single most important issue for voters, ahead of the economy, health, education and welfare.
