Applications Open for New Post-Graduate Course in Water Planning

The new Water Planning specialist stream of the nested Master programme offered by ICE WaRM’s partner universities commences from the start of the 2009 academic year.

The International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM) provides a national focus and international gateway to Australia's education, training and research expertise in water. Operating as WaterEd Australia and based in Adelaide, the Centre was established in 2004 as an Australian Government initiative, with the support of the South Australian Government.

Developed in association with the National Water Commission, the intent of the specialist Water Planning stream is to encourage skills development of Australian water planners, initially to Graduate Diploma level. The complementary Scholarship scheme offers financial assistance to eligible students.

The new course adds to the multi-award winning Master of Water Resources Management programme, which is available from the five founding partner universities. More information about the Water Planning specialist stream is available here.
